The Braliwa counter shed Rwf12 during yesterday’s trading session to close at Rwf154, from Rwf166 on Friday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Monday indicates. The counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf18.4 million from 119,200 shares traded in one deal. The drop caused a 4.60 points drop in the Rwanda Share Index, which closed at 135.04 points, while the All Share Index went down by 0.57 points, closing at 129.14 points. Bank of Kigali was unchanged at Rwf275. The lender recorded a total turnover of Rwf110,000 from 400 shares traded in one deal. The other equities counters were quiet and so was the bond market. Crystal Telecom closed at Rwf70, Equity Bank was at Rwf334, NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB closed at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets was at Rwf104. Bank of Kigali received offers of 331,300 shares at between Rwf275 and Rwf280, but there were no buyers, while Braliwa got outstanding offers of 34,500 shares at between Rwf166 and Rwf170, and a bid for 380,800 shares at Rwf154. On the Braliwa counter, there was an outstanding offer of 8,400 shares at Rwf76, but investors were ready to buy 331,900 shares at between Rwf65 and Rwf70. On the bond market, there was an outstanding bid for Rwf50 million worth of bonds at Rwf100 and no offers.
