ISON BPO Rwanda has taken over MTN outsourced call centres effective today from CET Rwanda, the telecom firm has said in a statement. Commenting on the development, MTN chief sales and distribution officer, Annie Bilenge, said the transfer of ownership of the call centre to ISON will allow the firm to concentrate on further improving service delivery and customer experience. Bilenge added that ISON is known for its ability to deliver cost-effective outsourcing solutions to clients at world-class standards. “This reflects a major part of strategy to create value and enhance service delivery while ensuring long-term business continuity,” said Bilenge. ISON BPO is a leading business process outsourcing provider in Africa and the ASEAN region, offering call centre services in 16 countries globally. It employs over 10,000 workers in its call centre outsourcing space across the 14 African countries, “thus enabling its clients to focus on growing and developing their key business mandates”. ISON BPO opened shop in Rwanda in 2012 and has been able to successfully create jobs for over 200 local talents, the statement added. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
