League champions APR FC have released nine players ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 season, which will kick off in September. “It’s true we have released them and the club wishes them all the best wherever they wish to go. The players have been advised to leave because they no longer fit in the plans of the club,” said the club Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa. Kalisa said the decision was reached after an evaluation of the players’ performance in line with the needs of the club. The players include; long serving goalkeeper Jean Claude Ndoli, captain Ismail ‘Kodo’ Nshutinamagara, Yannick Bukebuke, Tumaine ‘Titi’ Ntamuhanga, Jean Bertrand Iradukunda, Farouk Ruhinda, Bernabe Mubumbyi, Michel ‘Bugesera’ Ndahinduka and Bienvenue Mugenzi. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
