Former league champions APR, who lost against Kirehe and UNIK last weekend, will be hoping for the change of fortune as they bid to wrestle back the league title from rivals, UNIK (formerly INATEK). Sammy Mulinge’s team will face Kirehe in the first match, at 10am before playing against IPRC-South and their last game will be against reigning champions UNIK. To get back into the title race, APR need to win all the three matches and failure to do so, will see the title hopes fade away. “The target is to win all three matches, which will help us to turn things around and stay in contention for the title” said APR’s Kenyan trainer, Mulinge. UNIK lead the table with 45 points, Kirehe jumped to second with 37 points while APR dropped to third with 36 points and IPRC-South are in fourth place with 25. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
