Rwanda football federation (FERWAFA) has postponed an international women friendly match between Rwanda and Tanzania which was due to be played on Saturday in Kigali. The match was supposed to be held as part of the activities to mark the on-going 27th Africa Union Summit in Rwanda. However, due to tight schedules involving African Union Summit, the match could not be accommodated. A new date will be communicated at a later stage, according to FERWAFA. She-Amavubi were last seen in action two years ago during the qualifiers for the 2014 African Women Championships. Rwanda eliminated Kenya in the first round but were thrashed by eight-time champions Nigeria 12-1 on aggregate in the next round. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
