Eric Ndangamyambi posted a wonderful performance as Telugu Royals progressed to the T20 Computer point semi-finals at Kicukiro Cricket Ground. The two teams fielded their star players including X-Ugandan player Davis Turinawe who plays for Impara titans and Julius Mbaraga. Turinawe also doubles as the national cricket team coach. Terugu also fielded star players such as Shiva Samba and Eric Ndangamyambi who were on target as their team won to storm the semi-finals. On their way to victory, Terugu won the toss and bowled first. Impara’s Davis Turinawe scored 68 runs off 42 balls while Julius Mbaraga posted 42 runs in 35 balls. Titans put on 151 runs in 20 overs for 2 wickets. In the second inning, Telugu Royals easily posted 152 runs in 16.5 overs to emerge winners. Eric Ndangamyambi scored 54 runs off 25 balls and Rajath Kumar put on 33 runs off 29 balls for Titans. “We have worked hard and our effort has paid off, we hope to continue working very hard in order to win this tournament,” said Eric Ndangamyambi. Terugu qualified for the semis after winning their first two games including the win against the defending champions Challengers a month ago.
