There was low activity on the local exchange, with only a few shares changing hands, according to the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report. The bonds market was quiet. Crystal Telecom was the only active counter during yesterday’s trading session and recorded a total turnover of Rwf37,500 from 500 shares traded in one deal. The counter closed at Rwf75, unchanged from Wednesday’s closing share price. Both Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index were constant, closing at 142.94 and 130.12 points, respectively. Bank of Kigali closed at Rwf280, Bralirwa was at Rwf170, and Equity Bank at Rwf334. NMG closed at Rwf1,200, KCB at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets was at Rwf104. Bank of Kigali received offers of 299,700 shares at Rwf280, but investors were willing to acquire 100,000 shares at Rwf265, while Bralirwa got offers of 48,300 shares at between Rwf170 and Rwf173. There were 1.021 million shares on offer at the Crystal Telecom counter at between Rwf75 and Rwf80.
