The 22-year-old took some time to talk to young footballers, and shared a bit of his story. My mother is my biggest inspiration. She is very special to me. When I was young, we didn't have much, but she supported me, and I am where I am now because of her,” he said. Discussing his career, the former Ajax player highlighted that his standout game was the Community Shield against Manchester City, despite sustaining an injury during it. He also revealed that Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is the toughest striker he has faced. My best game was Arsenal against Manchester City in the Community Shield, even though I got injured. The most challenging striker I have faced is Erling Haaland,” he said. Timber commended the Visit Rwanda project and expressed his appreciation for the strong support Rwandans show for Arsenal. I've noticed many Arsenal shirts on the streets; people really support Arsenal here, he said. Timber’s trip is part of Visit Rwanda’s partnership with Arsenal FC, as the club’s inaugural Sleeve Sponsor and Official Tourism Partner.
