A few shares exchanged hands at the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE), with both the equities and bond market segments registering transactions yesterday. According to RSE daily market report, the bond market recorded a total turnover of Rwf201,400 from Rwf200,000 worth of bonds at Rwf100.7 traded in one deal. The Crystal Telecom counter realised a total turnover of Rwf350.4 million from over 4.2 million shares traded in two deals. The counter closed at Rwf88, unchanged from Friday’s session. Bank of Kigali pushed 1,100 shares traded in one deal, registering a total turnover of Rwf308,000. Both Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index remained unchanged to close at 145.40 and 130.43 points, respectively. The lender closed at Rwf280. The other equities counters were quiet, and closed as follows: Bralirwa was at Rwf173, Equity Bank at Rwf334, while NMG closed at Rwf1,200, KCB at Rwf330; and Uchumi Supermarket at Rwf104. At the end of the formal trading hours, there was an outstanding offer of 700 Bank of Kigali shares at Rwf290 and no bids. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 36,300 shares at Rwf173, while Crystal Telecom received offers of 1,762,700 shares between Rwf88 and Rwf95, but there were no bids. The KCB counter had on offer of 9,700 shares at Rwf340 and no bids.
