Dear editor, When I saw a UN convoy arriving in rebel-held territory in the Democratic Republic of Congo, bringing supplies to some of the displaced people, I asked myself many questions. Why should the UN wait to start supplying aids to people, after watching a conflict slowly developing into violence? Do they enjoy carrying supplies? I just cannot understand. MONUC well knows that militias and more precisely the FDRL, are the ones causing trouble in the DRC, but has kept quite. The so-called humanitarian aid lucks meaning in such situation for it is just a cosmetic change. UN missions should be from biases and personal interests. Nyagatare
