Sunday GS APPEGA 22-4 GS Rwamashyongoshyo GS APPEGA 21-15 Duha ComplexeDuha complexe 14-10 GS Rwamashyongoshyo Groupe Scholaire APPEGA Gahengeri began the 2016 national women handball league with an outstanding performance in a 22-4 win over GS Rwamashyongoshyo in the Eastern Sub League first round on Sunday. This year’s national league has been split into four sub leagues namely; Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern, attracting a total of 18 teams. In their first game, APPEGA, who hosted the first round matches the at Gahengeri ground, humbled Groupe Scholaire Rwamashyongoshyo 22-4 goals before defeating Duha Complexe 21-15, to finish on top of the table with six points and a goal difference of 24. In another match, Duha Complexe defeated Rwamashyongoshyo 14-10 to go second with four points and a deficit of one goal while Rwamashyongo comes last with two points and a deficit of 22 goals. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
