Kerala Hunters won the toss and opted to bowl giving room for the Impala Titans to bat first. They made 195 runs with Davis Turinawe on target before he was caught on 126 runs off 62 balls. On the score sheet for the Titans was Jeremy Werner who also made 31 runs in 35 balls. In return Kerala hunters chased and made 154 runs with 7 wickets down in 20 overs. Plavith Presannaray and Saga Baskaran were their star players with 38 and 28 runs respectively. Impala Titans won the game by 41 runs. “I am very delighted by the way the team performed. We worked so hard with vivacious level of discipline and commitment,” said the Impala Titans captain Arsene Muganyineza. He added that the players were disciplined, and that “in any field discipline is very important and our players manifested that throughout the game,” he noted. Impala Titans is on top of group B with 8 points and a run rate of 0.52 in 3 games followed Kerala hunters with 8 points with a run rate of 0.42. Challengers are in the 3rd position with 4 points in two games followed by Terugu Loyals in the fourth position without a point in two games.
