There was low activity at the local bourse with only Bank of Kigali shares exchanging hands, while the bond market was quiet. The Bank of Kigali moved 100 shares during yesterday’s trading session, recording a total turnover of Rwf28,000 traded in one deal, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates. The counter closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Friday’s closing share price. The RSE Rwanda Share Index and the All Share Index were stable, closing at 145.98 and 130.50 points, respectively. The other local counters, Bralirwa and Crystal Telecom, were quiet yesterday as were the cross-listed firms. Bralirwa closed at Rwf174, Crystal Telecom was at Rwf90 and Equity at Rwf334. NMG closed at Rwf1,200, KCB was also unchanged at Rwf330, while Uchumi Supermarkets was at Rwf104. At the end of the formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 198,200 shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf300 at the Bank of Kigali counter, while Bralirwa received offers of 136,200 shares at between Rwf173 and Rwf175, but no bidders. On the Crystal Telecom counter, there were outstanding offers of 167,700 shares at between Rwf93 Rwf98, but investors were will to acquire 44,400 shares at Rwf90. KCB received an outstanding offer of 13,000 shares at between Rwf340 and Rwf345. On the bond market, there was an outstanding bid for Rwf1.5 million worth of bonds at Rwf100, and no offers..
