First Lady Jeannette Kagame yesterday, at the ongoing 2016 National Leadership Retreat (Umwiherero) in Gabiro, received her award for fighting gender-based violence and empowering women. This award was given to the First Lady during the 5th General Assembly of the Kigali International Conference Declaration, held in Algiers, Algeria on March 8.
