SundayAtlabara vs Police (1-3), 4pm Police FC coach Andre Cassa Mbungo is seeking to qualify to the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup when they take on Atlabara in the preliminary round return leg on Sunday in Juba. Mbungo’s side goes into the return leg leading 3-1 from the first leg played two weeks ago in Kigali. The former AS Kigali coach says his team is in high spirits and in good position to seal qualification. “It is too hot here but the players are adapting well. We are on a mission not just to qualify but to qualify with a win,” Mbungo said on Friday. Police departed for Juba on Wednesday afternoon. He added, “We will not sit back and defend because by doing that we will be causing trouble to ourselves. We want to play an attacking game to ensure that we progress to the next round on a high note.” In the first leg, the 2015 Peace Cup winners scored their goals through striker Dany Usengimana, central defender Fabrice Twagizimana and forward Isaie Songa. Atlabara’s away goal was scored by Khamis Leon Uso. The match will be officiated by Kenyans referees; Andrew Juma Otieno, Gilbert Cheruiyot and Tony Kidiya.
