Crystal Telecom was the only active counter at the bourse yesterday, recording a total turnover of Rwf14.6 million from 155,700 shares traded in five deals. The counter however dropped Rwf3, to close at Rwf93 compared to Rwf96 during the previous trading session, the Rwanda Stock Exchange daily report for Wednesday indicates. The drop in the firm’s share price pushed down the RSE Rwanda Share Index and the All Share Index by 0.30 and 0.04 points to close at 146.28 and 130.54 points, respectively. The bonds market was quiet, and so were all the counters on the bourse. Bralirwa closed at Rwf174, Bank of Kigali was at Rwf280 and Equity Bank at Rwf334. NMG was recorded at Rwf1,200, KCB closed at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104. The Bank of Kigali counter received outstanding offers of 3,700 shares yesterday at between Rwf290 and Rwf300. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 222,900 shares at Rwf174 and a bid for 15,000 shares at Rwf161. Crystal Telecom received offers of over 1.7 million shares at between Rwf93 and Rwf106 and an outstanding bid of 49,100 shares at Rwf90. On KCB counter there was an outstanding offer of 9,700 shares at Rwf340, but there were no buyers.
