National Football League side Etincelless FC is in talks with former coach Innocent Seninga to replace Ugandan Ibrahim Kizito, who was sacked in January. Etincelles are second from bottom of the 16-team league table standing with five points, three ahead of bottom side, AS Muhanga. SC Kiyovu sacked Innocent Seninga in January. Etincelles is being coached by Djabir Mutarambirwa since January. Mutarambirwa played for Rayon Sports, SC Kiyovu, Atraco, APR and Eticnleer. Coach Seninga said: “I am just there as the technical adviser until the first leg ends. It will depend on how the recruitment will be done in the second round. If we do not get the players I need, I will not lead the team.” “They need me to help the team stay in first division, but I have asked them to buy some players in second round so that I can sign a contract with them,” he added. The club chairman Etienne Mvano confirmed the news. “We are in talks and we believe that he can help the team,” he said Etincelles secured their first win of the season against AS Muhanga thanks to striker Ramadan Ndayisenga in October. After losing against Bugesera 2-1, they are currently in second position from the bottom with six points three ahead of AS Muhanga. Meanwhile, the Rubavu based side has also signed former Mukura, SC Kiyovu defensive midfielder Hussein Sibomana and former Rayon Sports, SC Kiyovu and Marines striker Kambale Salita Gentil. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
