Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente held discussions with Gambia's Vice President, Muhammad Jallow, on Tuesday, November 28. Their discussions focused on knowledge exchange in governance and coordination mechanisms. Gaspard Twagirayezu, the Education Minister, highlighted that the discussions, centered on governmental coordination and the crucial role of the Prime Minister's office in this aspect. The talks also delved into Rwanda's technological advancements in education, capturing the interest of their Gambian counterparts, and aiming to explore ways of implementing similar systems in their country. Twagirayezu further underlined the importance of intra-African cooperation, citing instances where both countries learned from each other. Reflecting on Rwanda's financial management system, he explained how Rwanda and Gambia mutually benefit from sharing knowledge and experiences, emphasizing the significance of African nations learning from one another. Additionally, Jallow and his delegation are expected to visit the Ministry of Education, where discussions will revolve around the operational aspects and the implementation of educational technology programs.
