The Bank of Kigali counter moved 403,000 shares traded in five deals, raking in Rwf112.8 million during Tuesday’s trading session, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates. The firm closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Monday’s close. This was the highest turnover for any counter at the bourse yesterday. Bralirwa realised RWf34,800 from 200 shares transacted in one deal at Rwf174, while the other active counter, Crystal Telecom, recorded a total turnover of Rwf202,900 from 2,100 shares traded in three deals at Rwf98. The Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index remained unchanged, closing at 146.79 and 130.60 points, respectively. The bond market was quiet. Equity, Nation Media Group, KCB, and Uchumi Supermarkets counters were quiet yesterday, and last closed at Rwf334, Rwf1,200, Rwf330 and Rwf104, respectively. Nation Media Group, KCB, and Uchumi Supermarkets have not traded any shares for over a year now. At the end of the trading session, there was offer of 15,300 Bank of Kigali shares at Rwf285 and no bids, while the Bralirwa counter received outstanding offers of 566,600 shares at Rwf174. Crystal Telecom got offers of 917,600 shares at between Rwf98 and Rwf106 and no bids.
