The countrywide auditions for Miss Rwanda 2016 this past weekend concluded with selecting representatives for the City of Kigali, an event that was held at SportsView Hotel, Remera. There were 14 contestants but only nine were able to convince judges Mike Karangwa, Carine Urusaro and Jeanne de Chantal Mugabushaka, commonly known as Miss Eminente, to earn the pass. These joined their fellow contestants from the four provinces to make a total of 25 from whom the 15 finalists will be selected to join the boot camp that is slated to begin on February 8. This video shows how the event in Kigali unfolded and some of the winners share their prospects for once they get the crown. We also interviewed outgoing Miss Rwanda, Doriane Kundwa about different dynamics of the competition.
