Dear editor,I was astonished to hear that a South African judge has granted prosecutors leave to appeal against a ruling quashing corruption charges against ruling party leader Jacob Zuma. The intrigue within the ANC is going at higher levels every day. I do not therefore see Zuma taking over the highest office in that country, with all eyes of anger set around him. This turns back to haunt the ANC ‘historicals’ wherever they are, for their party is in great danger of total disintegration. It is wrong to divide the party between supporters of Mbeki and Zuma. Perhaps the fathers of the ANC should get off their high horses and try to mend fences between the warring factions. Otherwise what I see there is self-destruction – infanticide, so to speak. RUHANGO
