WESTERN PROVINCE KARONGI — Final students at ETO Kibuye –a government technical secondary school in Karongi District have said they are confident to pass their upcoming national exams. Different senior six students declared their readiness on Tuesday during exams prayers held at the school auditorium. “These prayers help us gain confidence through God’s power to pass national exams. We are optimistic to come up with distinctions from these exams,” Jean Claude Karangwa, one of the students studying technical automobile said after the prayers. According to the school’s head teacher, Anthony Ruzindana, these prayers are always organised every year towards exams and they help students gain confidence. “We organise these prayers annually and students have found it effective in passing national exams with a spiritual confident,” he said. Ruzindana, who is also a pastor from the Anglican Church of Rwanda, added that if you put God first, you succeed in everything. “You can not meet any failure to accomplish your endeavors if you put everything before God. These prayers are a vital addition to what they studied and revised in as far as national exams are concerned,” he said. Appolonie Uwizeyimana, another candidate said that after the prayers she takes national exams like any other exam or class exercise. “Most of the candidates fail because of the name National Exams. But in these prayers they try to expose them like the internal ones we have been doing here,” she said, stressing that they are ready for them. ETO Kibuye has been performing well in the national exams and has provided young engineers that work in different organisations in the country. The prayers were attended by school’s staff, neighboring Christians and students from Kigali Health Institute- Kibuye branch (KHI Kibuye). Ends
