RwandaAirs “Dream Miles Loyalty Programme” is commendable and precisely highlights the importance of partnerships. The national carrier of this great country has effectively partnered with the leading Pan-African bank (Ecobank), Visa Rwanda and Global Travel Wallet to give customers a unique and an innovative product. Jean-Paul Nyirubutama, Ag Chief Executive Officer, RwandaAir, rightly remarked that this loyalty programme is “first of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa”. While RwandaAirs initiative will definitely boost a cashless economy, it will also serve as a guideline how partnerships can and surely will take this beautiful land of a thousand hills to even greater heights.
