New signing Isaie Songa opened the scoring in first minute before adding the second goal on the 27th minute while Didier Nkurunziza scored the lone goal for Musanze on the 77th minute after miscommunication between central defenders Fabrice Twagizimana and Gabriel Mugabo. Police dominated the opening period with Mohamed Mushimiyimana and Amran Nshimiyimana and Hergman Ngomirakiza running rings around Musanze midfielders. The 2015 Peace Cup winners will face the winner between Rayon Sports and Sunrise, who meet today in the second semi-final at Amahoro National Stadium. “We are happy to reach the final, I can’t be contented until we win the final against either Rayon Sports or Sunrise,” said Police FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo.
