Sauti Sol, Kenzo to headline KigaliUp music festival

All roads lead to Amahoro National stadium this weekend as concertgoers flock the venue for the KigaliUp music festival. The two-day event will be graced by music stars Sauti Sol from Kenya and BET award-winner Eddy Kenzo from Uganda. Other music stars expected include, Joseph Torobeka from Burundi, Nicolenstia Bateau from Haiti and Rwandan Diaspora musicians Brooklyn Jay Bon D and Iyadede, among others. Eddy Kenzo. (File) The festival, now in its 5th year, provides a platform for young and upcoming artistes to showcase their talents and to share the stage with some of the continent’s music stars. Jay Polly, who has participated in the festival since the first edition, said upcoming artistes should use the festival as a platform to grow.
