Crystal Telecom counter shed Rwf12 to close at Rwf112 yesterday, down from Rwf124 on Wednesday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates. The firm’s total turnover for the day was Rwf5.7 million from 50,100 shares traded in three deals. On the Bank of Kigali counter, 251,800 shares worth Rwf70.5 million turnover exchanged hands in three deals. The counter also dropped Rwf5 to close at Rwf280, down from Rwf285 during the previous session. The RSE Share Index shed 2.45 points to close at 209.71, while RSE All Share Index dropped 0.31 points to close at 143.8 on declining Bank of Kigali and Crystal Telecom share prices, the report indicates. Bralirwa and all the cross-listed counters were quiet yesterday. The brewer closed at Rwf335 and Equity was at Rwf334. No transactions have been recorded on the Uchumi Supermarkets counter for weeks, while NMG, and KCB counters haven’t traded for over a year. Bralirwa recorded a total turnover of Rwf335,000 from 1,000 shares traded in one deal during the previous session, while Equity registered Rwf334,000 from 1,000 shares. There were outstanding offers of 1,063,200 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf305 at the end of the trading session, but they were no buyers.
