Editor, Refer to the article, “Akagera park residents wary of stray animals” (The New Times, July 8). Tourism is a great business where we get some dollars, foreign currency needed to carry out importation. Rwanda faces financial challenges because importation of goods and services outweighs what is exported. I think we need to promote and the tourism sector at all costs. Keeping in mind to safeguard the lives of the people living near Akagera National Park, RDB has to come up with a strategy of ensuring the safety of both the wild animals and citizens. John Kigaju
