The Minister for Justice Johnston Busingye, has been in the Netherlands since June 17, on an official visit aimed at deepening the bilateral cooperation in justice and rule of law. During the visit, the minister chaired the panel on Justice and rule of law, which brought together relevant policy stakeholders from Rwanda and The Netherlands, according to a statement from the ministry. (Courtesy) Busingye also had an interactive meeting with Rwandan Diaspora leaving in the Netherlands, during which they discussed key elements on policies that would help increase their contribution to their country. (Courtesy) “The Minister called on the Rwandan Diaspora members to reflect on the progress made by the country, bearing in mind where Rwanda has come from, and challenged them to become active partners in development,” reads the statement. He stressed that it is important for the Rwandans in the diaspora to play a role toward ensuring improved match-up between employability and training that is offered in Rwanda.
