One day a tiger wanted to eat a rabbit. The rabbit ran and the tiger chased after it. There was a river ahead. When the rabbit was about to reach near the river, it dived into a hole and hid. Near the river there was a frog standing and watching. So the tiger reached and saw the hole! It dug and dug looking for the rabbit so it could eat it. Luckily the tiger did not see the rabbit. The tiger saw the frog and asked it to watch the hole until the rabbit came out so that he could tell him to come and eat it. When the rabbit came out of the hole, he saw the frog standing and looking at him. “Why are you standing there looking at me?” the rabbit asked the frog. “The tiger told me to stand here and watch until you come out of the hole because he wants to eat you,” replied the frog. “No! No!” exclaimed the rabbit, “That is not how you watch for a rabbit. You have to open your eyes very wide so that you can see properly.” When the frog widened his eyes, the rabbit got soil and poured it into the frog’s eyes. The frog could not see and so the rabbit ran away. When the tiger returned, it found the frog still standing in the same place near the hole. The tiger asked the frog where the rabbit was and the frog said that it had run away. The tiger was very angry so he tried to eat the frog. The frog hopped and jumped into the river and he started to swim away. The tiger could not eat the frog because tigers do not know how to swim. Besides they fear cold water. Ends
