Dear editor, I believe that forming cooperative societies is very important for any group of people who share a common goal of becoming prosperous in their business ventures. Firstly, the accumulation of capital which is the first prerequisite for the success of any business venture is something that can easily be done through cooperatives. Rwanda is a country with great mighty potential especially in the agricultural sector. For farmers to realise success and get out of the vicious cycle of poverty, joining cooperatives is definitely paramount. When in cooperatives, access to loans which also act as collective security is very easy. Cooperatives also help to boost profits that would otherwise be very small as compared to going solo in businesses. Most importantly, the members in cooperative societies automatically get security that makes them qualify for any loan. I therefore call upon all farmers and to take heed and join cooperative societies because they will have a lot to benefit. They will save their time and money since they work as a group and avoid mistakes that are easily encountered when working alone. In massive sensitisation so that eventually the entire Rwandan society is embroiled within cooperative society. Gisozi
