Musanze FC striker Peter Agblevor has apologised to AS Kigali goalkeeper Yves Kimenyi for a serious challenge that could see him out for the remainder of the season. The Ghanaian attacker was shown a straight red card for injuring Kimenyi's tibia during Musanze’s clash with AS Kigali at Ubworoherane Stadium on Sunday, in an incident which saw the shot stopper forced off and rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. Agblevor was put through on goal in the 27th minute and he collided with an on rushing Kimenyi who came off his line to beat the striker to the ball . Agblevor, who was sent off for the foul, said he is very sorry for the incident and wished Kimenyi well. It is not easy for me right now, I’m not okay. I wish my brother Yves Kimenyi speedy recovery, Agblevor told Times Sport. I have not experienced things like this before in my career. I don’t even know what to do again and I would feel very bad if I knew this would happen., he added. It is feared that Kimenyi's season might be over given then the gravity of the injury. Musanze were down to 10 men ever since but they managed to maintain their 1-0 lead to full time courtesy of a 12th minute goal from Solomon Adeyinka. Agblevor's latest sending off means he will miss the league leaders' next match at home to Kiyovu SC on Saturday, November 4 at Ubworoherane Stadium.
