Politicians, regulators playing catch-up

Refer to Gitura Mwaura’s article, “Artificial Intelligence: Striking the right balance between caution and innovation” (The New Times, January 31).
It amazes me how politicians, regulators and other self-made social leaders are far, far behind scientists and engineers yet they yield most powers and resources.
