The men and women’s national sitting volleyball teams have entered a residential training camp ahead of the 2023 World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball World Cup that will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from November 11-18. The teams are currently undergoing daily rigorous training sessions at Kimisagara Gymnasium under the guidance of head coach, Mossad Rashad, assisted by Eric Gakwaya. Overall, Rwanda tops Africa women rankings followed by Egypt while Egypt lead men’s rankings while Rwanda follows in second place. The champions of the competition, in both men and women, will qualify for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
