Kiyovu Sports head coach Petros Koukouras has broken his silence on problems existing in the club, insisting that the current situation doesn’t motivate his players at all as much as the Primus National League is concerned. The Greek gaffer admits that things are not going well in the fold of the Mumena-based side while he calls on the club management to react quickly and get the situation right so the team can compete for titles this season. I try to motivate them so that we stick together. I don't know how we can continue going like this because the situation is very difficult. Koukouras also stressed that his team is going through a tough situation as off pitch problems are affecting the team’s performance. The situation is affecting our preparations. We just trying our best. Considering what we have, I think we are doing well. Some journalists want me to quit, but I am not quitting. These players are my family now. We need solution. Despite the situation, the Greek coach lauded his players for the win against Marines on Saturday at Kigali Pelé Stadium. My players were my heroes against Marines because we face things I have never faced in my life. And for them to come and play this game like this is a miracle, I want to thank them for the win, he said. The game with Marines was tougher than the one played against Gorilla FC; it was very difficult. We knew Marines was a very good team and they run for 90 minutes. They play from the back so we pressed them high. Kiyovu have won three, drawn three and lost one in seven games so far this season.
