Editor, Reference is made to the story, “Constantine resigns from Amavubi” (The New Times, January 16). Given how utterly unprofessional our national football administrators are, I bet Ferwafa hadn’t even thought of the possibility of this occurring, despite many hints in the media (another hint: as in politics or celebrity divorces, denial of the departure of football managers is usually bankable confirmation they are on their way out) and prepared a backup. And so our preps for hosting next year’s CHAN will almost certainly be without an adequate national coach. What a shambles our national sports administrators are! Par for the course, of course.
