The new year is upon us as we get ready to ring in 2015 full of blessings and say goodbye to 2014. What better way to start this new chapter in our lives than with fun, music and entertainment? If you have no plans to go out and celebrate, there are plenty of options for you to enjoy. Neptunez band @ Kigali Serena Hotel Don’t miss as one of the country’s bands, Neptunez, performs at Kigali Serena Hotel this evening. The Vibe Party @ Gikondo Expo Grounds The East African Promoters is organising two mega parties, the Vibe Party and East African Party, to help you ring in 2015 in style. The Vibe Party starts from 7p.m till dawn with DJs Africano and Focus rocking the wheels of steel. There will be a red carpet moment, photo shoot and the fireworks at2a.m. Gracing the party is Tanzania’s Bongo Flava recording artiste Diamond Platnumz. Entrance fee to the Vibe Party is Rwf10, 000, with free tequila at the entrance between 9p.m -midnight. And it doesn’t stop there... East African Party – Jan 1 The East African Party will be held at Amahoro stadium’s main parking lot tomorrow, New Year. The main entertainer is the “Ntampata Wapi” star Diamond Platnumz. The country’s soulful vocalist and composer Cécile Kayirebwa as well as Intore Massamba and orchestra Impala are set to perform. Other entertains will include Jay Polly, Riderman, Knowless and King James. The party starts at 4p.m. Tickets prices range between Rwf1, 000 and Rwf5, 000 respectively. Happy People New Year party – December 31 With music by DJs Simples (Uganda), Princess Flor (Belgium), and our own Karim, food and drinks, this is going be a night to remember! Happy People and Heineken have organised a blockbuster of a party at the Food Court, KCT, this evening, New Year’s Eve. Come rock n roll with the “Happy People” from10p.m till dawn. Tickets cost Rwf10, 000.
