Mind your appearance Let’s face it; very few women maintain their physical appearance in marriage. While most ladies look gorgeous during courtship or as searching singles, very few are able to maintain this when they start “permanent” or serious relationships. Either a woman will let herself gain excess wait or ignore her appearance. Yet this can be a recipe for disaster in any relationship. First, you must understand that your man was attracted to you in the first place because you looked great. Of course it goes beyond looks when it comes to serious relationships but you must understand that looking great is equally pertinent. Men are attracted to women who look good because they boost their confidence especially in the company of their friends. So when a woman decides to ignore her looks, some men start looking around for women who look good. But what exactly does it mean to look good? It means caring for your skin (treating acne and any other skin problems), matching your clothes in a way that will not make you look like a peacock and maintaining the shape of your body. For instance most women use pregnancy and giving birth as excuse for getting fat. However what such women forget is that in our society, there are also women who have given birth but managed to maintain their body size and shape. The trick here is going visiting the health club and watching your diet. If you can’t afford going to a health club, there are some exercises that you can practice at home. You can try skipping using a rope, jogging, walking relatively long distances and doing some household tasks. This will help you burn excess fat that is likely to make you obese. To keep looking good doesn’t mean you have to visit the saloon everyday. No! There are basic things you can do to keep you looking great that do not require visiting the saloon or big spending. It is advisable to buy your own kit (nail cutter, shampoo, nail vanish, nail polish remover, shaving cream) that can be used by the whole family. Don’t wait for your nail polish to peel off, as soon as it begins to peel, remove it. Keep your nails clean whether long or short. Timely shaving is also a good practice not only for your personal hygiene but also inner cleanliness. It is not enough to look good on the outside while you are dirty inside. Always wear fitting underwear and as soon as it grows old throw it away. You should also always dress up in clothes that accentuate your figure. Make sure that you wear clothes that enhance your beauty and bring out your strong points. If you have a big tummy, don’t wear tight clothes that will bring it out, instead wear baggy clothes. As a woman, you should also make sure that you smell good. If you can’t afford buying a perfume, at least use a deodorant that will give you a great fragrance and keep your fresh. The bottom line is that as a woman, you should always strive to look attractive. Wear the right clothes with the right shoes in the right place at the right time. Don’t forget to accessorize with a necklace, ear rings, bracelets and hand bag. Looking attractive physically is a gate pass to maintaining the emotional attractiveness with your spouse.
