Bralirwa share price increased by Rwf12 over the past week to close at Rwf370 yesterday, from Rwf358 on Monday last week, the Rwanda Stock Exchange daily market report indicates. The brewer traded a total of 103,400 shares in four deals, raking in Rwf38.3 million compared to a turnover of Rwf1.1 million from 3,000 shares the previous Monday. Bank of Kigali, on the other hand, recorded a total turnover of Rwf6.9 million from 23,900 shares traded in three deals. This was a decline compared to Monday last week, where Rwf42.4 million was realised from 151,000 shares. The bank’s share price, however, increased during the week from Rwf281 the previous Monday to close at Rwf289 yesterday. The increase in the two counters’ share price boosted the Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index, which rose by 7.08 points to close at 229.71 points yesterday from 222.63 points last week. There was no trade recorded on the cross-listed counters or listed bonds. The Uchumi Supermarkets counter received an outstanding offer of 6,000 shares at Rwf104 each, while on the bond market, there was an outstanding bid for 500,000 bonds of the Rwf15 billion government Treasury bond issued in August at Rwf100 each.
