TodayMuhanga vs Puma RFC SOUTHERN PROVINCE-based rugby league rivals Muhanga and Puma RFC face-off in a pre-season friendly match this afternoon at Muhanga rugby ground. Both teams will be using the game to evaluate their squads ahead of the 2014/2015 season which is scheduled to start on December 13. It is the first pre-season friendly for the two teams. “We came second in the Southern rugby league after Grizzles, but this time we are determined to aim for the national league title,” Muhanga RFC head coach, Livingstone Muhire said. His counterpart of Puma, Erneste Rubayiza, believes that the friendlies will help him build a team capable of doing well in the national league. National Rugby League started in 2007 and it has been largely dominated by Remera Bufaloes, who have won four titles while Lion de Fer have won two and Kigali Sharks and Golliras one title respectively.
