Dear Editor, I would like to appreciate one of the most reliable and effective methods of making convicts reform through TIG. The way in which the government of Rwanda was able to come up with this program is brilliant. Instead of prisoners eating and sleeping in their cells, they are deployed in manual labour in various fields and sectors of development. By doing this, they are able to improve the country’s infrastructure like, roads. Tree planting is also done among many other activities. Prisoners too, gain skills that can help them when they are released. People should therefore, understand the essence of this kind of correctional services. TIG community work is beneficial to our community in terms of restoring the economy. Kigali
