Rayon Sports is in talks with former coach Ivan Minnaert to handle the club barely 24 hours after they parted ways with Tunisian gaffer Zelfani Yamen through mutual agreement. Zelfani, who replaced Francis Haringingo on July 10 had his deal terminated on Sunday, October 8, after both parties came to a consensus. He failed to achieve that as the team was eliminated by Al Hilal Benghazi despite enjoying a home advantage in both legs. Times Sport understands that Rayon has opened talks with ex-coach Minnaert who is currently with Malian outfit Djoliba AC. Barring any breakdown in talks, the 56-year-old Belgian trainer could be named as head coach of Rayon in the coming days. Rayon has won one and drawn three league games, so far, this season.
