Frankie Joe gets hero's welcome on return

A small crowd welcomed an ecstatic Frankie ‘Joe’ Rukundo back to Rwanda, shouting his name as he walked out of the arrivals gate at Kigali International Airport. Upon arrival, Frankie Joe was met by friends and family. (Doreen Umutesi) Arriving at 12:40 pm on the RwandAir flight from Johannesburg, the evicted Big Brother contestant was met with flowers by friends and family who had been waiting for him in the blazing sun. Frankie Joe was evicted on Sunday, November 9. (Doreen Umutesi) Speaking to The New Times, the 33-year old Frankie talked about the hurdles he faced in the Big Brother house. I would like to thank all of you for supporting me when I was in the house. There were a lot of temptations in the house but I was mindful of my ethics and values as a Rwandan and I tried to perform to my best ability but it was psychologically demanding.
