Dear Editor, Recently, Rwanda hosted, for the first time in Africa, the ‘Cup of excellence’. This is a great sign of confidence in Rwanda and should be a great source of pride to her nationals. This, however, poses a great challenge to Rwandan coffee growers to maintain the high standards exhibited and also to meet the created demand. The coffee growers should also not just look at the International markets but also satisfy the local demand. Talking of local demand, I hope Rwandans don’t believe that they should always settle for the dregs but rather give themselves a coffee treat once in a while. To the Private Sector Federation, thumbs up. Please, bring as many competitions to other agricultural products as possible. Remera
