I love listening to different people mostly children. Last week at Hotel des Mille Collines when the children had their reading and writing contest I was so touched by what the children said. I really didn’t know that children are so brilliant. They both spoke their and wrote what was on their minds. Children who participated in the writing really did a great job. They wrote about some of the crucial and most important topics that affect every Rwandan. Whn I talked to some children they told me that out of their initiative they thought of writing on topics like illiteracy, ignorance and the fight against HIV/ AIDS. With my great pleasure I would like to thank all the primary pupils and secondary students who managed to take part in the contest. Thanks go to all head teachers for helping and taking care of the children and lastly I appreciate the efforts of Macmillan Rwanda, The New Times and Radio Flash who sponsored the event. Ends
