Once upon a time, there lived a boy called John. He did not have time to eat his breakfast. He did not even have time to go to the bathroom to wash his face and body. He was always late for school. One day, he walked into class late sitting in his place. A lesson on Africa’s animals was being taught. “Can anybody tell me the name of a large cat living in Africa?” asked the teacher, “people call this animal the King of the Jungle?” John’s hand went up. He stood up and blurted, “May I go to the bathroom?” “No, that is not the animal, I have heard of a lion and a tiger but I have never heard of a cat called May I go to the bathroom. Sit down!” said the teacher. Shaking his head, John sat down. After lunch the break, John came late into class. This time it was a math lesson. What is 3+3?” the teacher asked. John’s hand went up again. All eyes were on John. There was silence. John stood up and blurted, “May I go to the bathroom?” “No, that is not the number,” yelled the teacher “I have never heard of numbers like six and three and twenty but I have never heard of the number called ‘May I go to the bathroom.
