Bank of Kigali’s share price continued its upward trend during the past week to close at Rwf310 yesterday, up from Rwf300 recorded the previous Monday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) Monday market report indicates. The bank traded a total of 1,100 shares yesterday, realising Rwf339,500 in turnover, a decline from Rwf1.8 million recorded last week. Bralirwa’s share price, on the other hand, shed Rwf9, dropping to Rwf430 yesterday from Rwf439 last week. The breweries counter traded a total of Rwf213,000 yesterday from 500 shares sold, a rebound as no shares were traded on Monday last week. No transaction was recorded on the cross-listed counters; Uchumi, Nation Media Group and KCB. The RSE Share Index dropped by 1.01 points during the week, from 258.61 points last Monday to 257.6 points yesterday.
