Already crowned champions, APR lead the table with 38 points, six ahead of closest rivals Rayon Sports, who they also meet in game two on Sunday at Amahoro indoor stadium. Even if Rayon wins both games in the final, they can only accumulate 34 points. APR coach Sammy Mulinge said: “I think we have done so well throughout the whole season, and I hope we will continue the same in the final two games against Rayon. We need to win all our games.” In the women category, champions Rwanda Revenue Authority will square off against APR in the playoff final. For the third position, Ruhango VC will meet St Alloys Rwamagana in the women category while Lycée de Nyanza face INATEK in the men’s.
