Contemporary artist Samuel Niyonkuru Boneza is preparing for his inaugural exhibition titled ‘In the Art World Kigali’ Season 1, scheduled to run from September 29 to October 7 at Envision Rwanda. Boneza's journey into the world of art began in 2017, where he initially explored realism. However, he soon found that this genre limited the expression of his imaginative ideas. At the heart of Boneza’s art lies a profound connection with society and the human experience. His work serves as a medium through which he shares compelling stories, shedding light on the intricacies of life. His creations seamlessly blend visual art with the written word, offering viewers a multi-sensory experience. His keen observation skills and penchant for unearthing untold stories have driven him to reach this significant milestone in his artistic journey. “‘In the Art World Kigali’ - Season 1 promises to be an inspiration and interesting showcase of my talent and vision, inviting art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the vibrant, thought-provoking world of contemporary art. This exhibition marks the beginning of what is sure to be a promising career for me as I endeavour to make my mark on the art scene,” Boneza explained.
