(Courtesy photo) TEAM Rwanda rider Janvier Hadi endured a poor start at this year’s Tour of Alberta on Wednesday as he finished in 106th position out of 113 competitors of stage one in Lethbridge, Canada. The 23-year-old Hadi, who rides for Canada’s Garneau-Quebecor cycling team, clocked three hours, 34 minutes and 13 seconds, ten minutes and four seconds behind stage one Dutch winner Tom Dumoulin, who features for Team Giant-Shimanogia of the Netherlands. Yesterday was stage two (Innisfail to Red Deer). On Tuesday, Hadi finished 112th out of 118 contenders for the 4-km individual time trial race after using seven minutes and 23 seconds. Dumoulin won the race in exactly six minutes. The six-day 700-kilometre Tour of Alberta, which is in its second year, started on Tuesday and will run until September 7 with the final stage in Calgary, Canada.
