Ten basketball teams will take part in the upcoming Africa Zone Five Club Championship to be held in Rwanda starting on October 21. The showpiece to be held at BK Arena and Lycee de Kigali gymnasium will end on October 28. ALSO READ: Basketball: APR women dethrone REG to win 2023 championship “We are expecting an exciting and highly competitive tournament,” said Fionah Ishimwe, the Executive Director of the Rwanda Basketball Federation. The tournament acts as a qualifier for the 2023 FIBA Africa Champions Cup for Women which will take place in Egypt, from December 8 to 17, bringing together 10 women’s basketball clubs from all over the continent.
